Early Education Program

The programs at My Little School are designed to help your child develop mentally, physically, emotionally and socially by providing structured daily hands-on developmental and problem solving experiences in:

Art,
Science,
Mathematics,
Reading,
Language Arts, and
Just plain having fun.

Grouping

As a parent or guardian you know that each child is unique, with different needs and abilities.  Because of our emphasis on early education, each child enrolled at My Little School is placed within a group of children with similar developmental levels as opposed to strict age groups.

Our reason for grouping children in this way is to help your child be successful in the academic skills.  In this way they will feel good about themselves and continue to enjoy learning throughout their education experiences.

Groups consist of Infants, Transitional Infants (older infants), Toddlers, Pre-Schoolers and Pre-Kindergarten children.

Daily Schedule

Below is a typical daily schedule of activities for all age groups:

Morning Schedule:
7 – 9 am: Free exploration in the Center
9 – 10 am: Morning snack and recess
10 – 11 am: Structured classroom activities
11 am: Parents pick-up morning students

Lunch and Quiet Time:
11 – 11:30 am: Toddler lunch
11:30 – 12 pm: Pre-school lunch
12 – 1 pm: Quiet time for full time students

Afternoon Schedule:
1 – 2 pm: Free exploration in the Center
2 – 3 pm: Afternoon snack and recess
3 – 4 pm: Structured classroom activities
4 – 5 pm: Whole group activities
5 pm: Parents pick-up afternoon students
5 – 6 pm: Free exploration in the Center
